I love stopping by Moniz for a meal or two - as many as I can fit in during my typically short visits - every time I find myself in Hounslow. The setting is is simple, the clientele local and diverse, the prices are very affordable, and the fresh fish is absolutely delicious. On of my favorites is the grilled dorade.

Great atmosphere, great staff, amazing customer service and equally amazing food. The portions are huge, so watch what you order. On our way back to Los Angeles from Rome, we spent a night in London. We were tired and hungry, so we decided to check out Yelp for recommendations and Moniz came up. I'm glad we gave it a shot because the food was amazing. The staff were super friendly and overall, it was a great place to eat at.
I went there twice. Every time the food was good. First time I took Bacalau, it was very tasty. Second time I tried the skewers and it was amazing. Waitress is very nice. And you can watch football games. Customers over there are mostly from Portugal or Portuguese speaking which I think is a good indication of quality
Food was delicious and portions were average sized. The Mixed Skewers were super good. The service was really slow, but pleasant.
