Friendly atmosphere. ..but drinks are a bit pricey
The Rose and Crown is an example of what a modern pub should be. It looks after its locals, and welcomes new people. They host and manage local events, and the hold a central point in a community which could easily lose contact with each other without a place to go.It's a welcome oasis in an area which has lost many local pubs. Thanks have to go to Johnny, Natasha, and the team for keeping it alive and kicking.
Very good service. Staff always polite lovely play area for kids. All in all a great family pub.
Haven't been here since the refurb and new owners. Place is clean and tidy with a lovely beer garden. Well equipped for children with a climbing frame. Staff were polite and welcoming of children also. Screens were up to watch the football which was nice. Sunday roast was served and was nice and fairly priced. Great family pub, just lacking enough parking.
Great pub, friendly and great atmosphere. Staff are good and services was okay considering the event (England Playing in World Cup). Good location with plenty of transport links.very large outside garden areas.
