Love this hotel! It's super close to Heathrow airport, and if you're travelling from T5 you can take a free bus (423) to get there, saving you a few quid in taxi fare! Beds are super comfortable, certainly of a higher standard to those I've stayed in. Staff are very helpful and genuinely friendly which makes your stay right from when you pass the concierge desk. Breakfast is a lavish buffet-style affair, and in the evening grab a hamburger from the bar restaurant. It's grand!
I stayed in this hotel at first about 7-8 years ago once and since then I did not have a chance to go back, but then my review wasn' t the best, as the hotel was a little worn that time. then 2-3 years ago I spent a night there again and I can highly recommend to anyone who like to stay in 4-5 stars hotels. It was renewed, refurbished during the past few years in every way - in services, too, so I was pleased to see and experience the nice and good changes. Room was very clean, with every necessary facilities, and I was happy to see first time the ice bucket, which service is not available in each London hotel. Spacious room, good working and quiet air-condition, modern but stylish equipments, many little extras -small pack of chocolate near the bed, a lot of sanitary equipments and toiletries in the bathroom, so I wouldn't be in trouble if I forgot to pack something in my case at home. The lobby is very clean and elegant, bar is spacious with private boxes, too, nicely decorated, though prices are a little high... I always appreciate every flower, so was very pleased to see them in the hall and in the bar, too. Although in the afternoon there was an Indian wedding in the hotel and I've seen so many guests of that, it is a plus that I could not hear them at all, so the hotel is well sound-proof. Congratulation for the restoration, it definitely hit my standard, and I happily do recommend:)
My family and I were provided rooms and meal vouchers for a delayed flight that caused us to miss our plane back home with Renaissance Hotel. The staff was very friendly, the dinner and breakfast buffet was a delight after an entire day spent in airports and surpassed our expectations. They even offered transportation to and from the airport. The rooms were very comfortable and it was a treat to stay in such a place after a long trip. It ended up being a really pleasant brief stay in London.
I got stranded with a cancelled flight and got put in here. The room smelled quite a bit and the heating vent is so loud I couldnt sleep because of the noise. Cherry on top: I had no luggage cause the airline didnt let us collect anything so I asked for help at the reception, looking for some period products (it was 1 am so I couldnt really go anywhere else). The answer I got was I can give you a dental kit. A. Dental. Kit. On the other hand, the manager I asked to speak to the morning after was lovely and understand, as was the morning shift staff. Breakfast was amazing as well - awesome eggs cooked on the spot and as you want them.
A very pleasant stay indeed. Hannah at check in desk was wonderful. We had a great view of the runway with planes taking off and landing, my daughter was transfixed!Breakfast was just the ticket for a quick fill up before grabbing a taxi to T3, just a 10 minute ride, it was so easy. There is a taxi booking desk in the entrance hall to make things easy 10 to T2 or T3.Thank you to all staff who were all so helpful and pleasant, despite them being rushed off their feet with 290 passengers from a cancelled flight. Thank you for everything.
