Hotel by itself is quite good and the restaurant is decent for beer and quick bite. Breakfast is amazing. The one missing star is just for the location compared to its peers like Marriott and Hyatt which have better restaurant choices around.
Nice modern hotel and well situated for the airport. The bar and restaurant is lovely. The hotel is busy though and you can be waiting for the lift for ages!
The hotel itself is smart, the bar area is a pleasant place to sit too. Stupid design in the room doesn't allow any light in to the wardrobe, so at night you have a very dimly lit interior. (The only alternative is to leave your bathroom door open to illuminate it, which isn't great when you've either just had a shower OR something a little more personal in the toilet!)On a serious note, I found the reception staff to be pretty arrogant and cold to deal with. Only one member of the reception staff was nicely approachable and seemingly good at her job and that was the English lass with blonde hair). If a hotel is going to place people on the front line to deal with customers, why don't they make sure that they have the ability to make people feel welcome in a professional manner? The arrogance and sullen faces were very off-putting. The bar staff had a much more polite manner and were friendly.I wouldn't pay to stay here again.
Great rooms and comfy bed. Had food during the evening and the gammon and eggs was delicious. Breakfast was the best I've ever had, so much choice from a make your own waffle machine and a chef who made omelettes for you. Really great night before I flew to New York.
The hotel was very clean, check in was easy and the staff was very kind. Breakfast looked and tasted amazing, also if one is not totally into English breakfast ;)The room was nice. Great was that there was a European plug which I have never seen in other places. Unfortunately I missed Shampoo and shower gel as well and toothpaste would have been a great service. So here would be room for improvement.Nevertheless, great hotel.
