Cheap and basic, but little else. Rooms are the minimum you'd hope for in fit and finish, but a couple of things in particular put a downer on our most recent stay. The pillows were hard and thick, making it difficult to get comfy in their 'standard' rooms. I asked at reception the next morning if there were softer pillows available, was told yes and they'd be brought to my room. Sadly, they never arrived until I asked again that evening around 8pm. Secondly the heating / cooling / AC unit is absolutely useless. Our room was a stifling 22C upon arrival and setting the thermostat to 17C (a challenge in itself) dropped the room temp only half a degree over the course of putting up with its incessant whirring through the night. Finally, I voluntarily opted to pay the additional fee and upgrade our room to the new set of top-floor 'Super Rooms'. I was told this would be impossible as we'd come as part of a group booking (three rooms total) and there was nothing they could do (or were willing to do) to upgrade a single room instead of all three at once. Won't be staying again.
My favourite London hotel! Great price, wonderful sleep, quality rooms and close to Hounslow tube stations - also a direct bus to Heathrow if needed. The staff were excellent and I thought the breakfast was great too. Totally recommended!
Perfect location for us, easy to catch bus to terminal 2 and 3. We just paid on the day for the bus. Room was new upgraded one so air-conditioned, shower etc. Clean. Restaurant onsite if wanted. Thought would hear planes all night but truly couldn't even though could see them up close. Would go again.
I travelled on my own for the first time. The staff were friendly and helpful. Reception staff were particularly calm, friendly and super efficient. They sorted out all my niggly worries and went the extra mile. Wonderful. So grateful. Thank you.
I used a few Travelodge in the past in the area and this is one of the nicest. Rooms are nice and clean. We had a family room and it was enough space for the three of us. We also are at the restaurant and the food was nice and the staff was friendly and professional. They also have an area for kids at the restaurant , which is nice to entertain them.
